Union Church

The mission of the Outreach Committee is to educate and encourage support of issues related to social justice and environmental stewardship within the church and in the wider community.  

Each year we create an Earth Day service that celebrates the uniqueness of the earth and encourages us to take action to reduce the environmental impact of our lifestyles. This year Climate Change will be our focus and the service will be “Go Make a Difference!” This service will take place on Sunday , April 18th, at 10:30am. 

We regularly support fair trade through annual sales of products from Dix Milles Villages and have an ongoing collection of non-perishable food for the Fond de Depannage de l’Ouest de l’Ile, our local food bank. The committee raises money for many local and international charities through after-church soup lunches.
