Sailing our Plastic Oceans

On Sunday, February 20th, join us for a light lunch (soup and bread) while we have the opportunity to meet Bryson Robertson, a young engineer from South Africa who, with two friends, has sailed around the globe documenting the amount of plastics on the beaches and in the oceans. He has been visiting schools in many different countries educating people about this global problem.  We will be fortunate to have him share his photos and information with us. He will talk about how plastics affect the wildlife and, most importantly, what we can do about the problem.  Soup and bread will be served, and we invite you to make a free-will donation to go towards OceanGybe, a non-profit education fund to bring this message to schools across Canada, and to cover Bryson's expenses for coming.
